In the days of Christ, the Jewish people allowed their faith to be controlled by the “churches” of their time (synagogues). The leaders of these churches didn’t want to search the Scriptures for the Truth (Christ) to which they were witness.
Today, we are repeating the past by putting the control of our faith in modern day churches while ignoring the word of God. The point of fact in this matter is the word “church” does not belong in the Bible in the first place. A church is nothing more than an organization and business that must be sustained or the walls will come crashing down. See the article Church – The Real Meaning which can be found on this website. The modern-day denominations have all been birthed from Roman Catholicism and will meet the same fate of destruction in the end.
3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written:
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS
OF THE EARTH.

Revelation 17 sets up the spiritual explanation of Babylon (which means confusion) and Revelation 18 tells of the coming destruction of the whole system, both physical and spiritual.
In order to understand what Unlock The Word is, we need to explore the parable of the sower.
3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. 8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

In order to understand this parable, one would need to know more about the sower. To know this, the definition of this word is needed. Sower is Strong’s #G4687 which means: one who received the seed. – In order to sow the seed, one needs to be given the seed to sow and it is the Father who gives it.
10 Now may He [the Father] who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

The next thing one would need to know is what is the seed? To find this information, this same parable needs to be searched out in the other gospels and Luke gives us the answer.
11 “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

Unlock The Word is the ‘sower of the seed’ here to help those who are being called by the Father to learn His truth by unlocking the Bible. It is one thing to be told what the Bible says by today’s “church” leaders. It is another to read Scripture without bias and gain understanding.
Today’s church leadership has been brought up in understanding through Mystery Babylon (confusion) who is the Mother of the harlot (daughter) churches.
Among the churches today (as in the time directly after Christ) there are many divisions. Why? Paul admonished the called of God:
1 “Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”
1 Corinthians 1:10 (NKJV) (emphasis mine)
As is known, this unity did not occur in Paul’s time, and has not occurred today. “Christians” do not speak the same thing and are not perfectly joined together in the same mind and judgement. Paul did explain how this is:
4 “And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus that they might bring us into bondage)…….”

In Paul’s day there were false ministers and teachers who deceived many. This problem of false teachers and ministers has become so pervasive over the centuries that the truth of the Bible is almost undetectable to present day Christians. Many have been deceived.

Unlock Your Faith – 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Unlock Your Spirit – 9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth (Ephesians 5:9)
